My approach

Integrative, evidence-based, and shaped to fit.

I don't work from a script. I draw from the modalities below and tailor the work to your history, your culture, and what you actually need. The point is not the technique. The point is the root.

The throughline

Rooted in more than one way of understanding.

Traditional treatment is often quick, short-term, skills-focused work: useful, but it rarely reaches the root. I use those skills too. We just don't stop there.

Underneath the anxiety, the overthinking, the same argument on repeat, there is usually an older pattern: an attachment wound, a role you were handed, an expectation you never agreed to. That is the layer we work at.

And the cultural part is not a footnote. When your family, your community, and your own sense of self are all pulling in different directions, you shouldn't have to explain that context before you can begin. Here, it is assumed.

The modalities

Frameworks I draw from, woven together.

I don't believe therapy should feel one-size-fits-all. I draw from evidence-based, trauma-informed and culturally responsive approaches to shape our work around you: your experiences, relationships, identity, and what you need most.

01
Understand

Make sense of the patterns.

Explore how your experiences, relationships, and attachment patterns have shaped the way you feel and respond today.

02
Feel & heal

Work with what's underneath.

Slow things down, connect with emotions and your nervous system, and gently work with what has been difficult to carry.

03
Create change

Build something different.

Develop practical tools, new ways of responding, and greater confidence in your life and your relationships.

There is room here for all of you.

Culture, spirituality, faith and identity can be part of our work when they are meaningful to you. They never have to be.

What I help with

The things that brought you here.

Different words, often the same roots. You might recognize yourself in some of this.

Much of my work is with anxiety, perfectionism, and the overthinking that never quite switches off. With trauma, including intergenerational and cultural trauma, and the attachment wounds that shape how we love and trust.

It is often with the weight of being the responsible one: eldest-daughter syndrome and parentification, people-pleasing, guilt, and burnout. And with the harder-to-name things too, cultural identity loss and religious trauma, family and in-law expectations, separation and the stigma around it, neurodivergence you are still making sense of, low mood, and the big transitions: a new marriage, migration, becoming a parent.
